The Innovative Journal of Medical Imaging, published by SPJ Publication, operates as a fully open-access journal ensuring all articles are freely available worldwide without subscription fees. To maintain high-quality scholarly publishing including peer review, professional editing, typesetting, digital archiving, indexing, and long-term online hosting, the journal collects an Article Processing Charge (APC) only after a manuscript successfully passes peer review and receives final acceptance.
Payments are accepted in Indian Rupees (INR) for authors within India and US Dollars (USD) for international authors. Additional GST will be applied as per Government of India regulations.
There is no fee for article submission, initial screening, or peer-review processing. Charges apply only upon acceptance for publication.
The applicable APC rates are as follows:

Note: The standard peer-review process requires 3–5 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and manuscript complexity.
The journal offers a structured waiver policy supporting authors from low-income or resource-constrained regions. Eligible authors may receive up to 20% waiver on APC charges, subject to verification and approval. Waiver requests must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission by contacting the editorial office at info@spjpublication.com.
