The Innovative Journal of Medical Imaging is an official journal of the Association of Academic Radiography and Imaging Sciences (AARIS). It was started in the year 2024 as an open-access, peer-reviewed journal. Now this journal is acquired by AARIS. The journal is published on a quarterly basis (Jan-March | April-June | July-Sep | Oct-Dec) and is available in both online and print formats. The language of publication is English. The journal aims to publish original, previously unpublished scholarly work across a broad range of article types, including original research articles, review articles, short communications, case reports, case studies, case series, editorials, technical reports, etc. The journal serves as a multidisciplinary platform that brings together professionals from the diverse fields of radiology and medical imaging, including radiologists, medical imaging technologists, researchers, academicians, and clinicians etc. All articles published in this journal are freely accessible worldwide, which allow readers to read, download, and share the content without paying any payment.

The Innovative Journal of Medical Imaging welcomes submissions from radiology and medical imaging professionals in a variety of formats, allowing researchers to share their ideas, knowledge, and innovations in ways that suit their work best. All manuscripts should follow the standards outlined in the ICMJE guidelines and must comply with the specific instructions provided for each manuscript category in the Author Instructions section.
All articles published in the Innovative Journal of Medical Imaging are freely available under an open access model and are licensed according to the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0). The Innovative Journal of Medical Imaging (IJMI) ensures a reliable and lasting digital presence through Crossref, which serves as the journal's primary platform for digital identification and scholarly linking. Authors retain full ownership of the copyright to their published work. This agreement does not restrict authors' rights to use their work. Authors may freely reuse their published material for academic teaching, conference presentations, institutional repositories, or future research and publications, provided that proper acknowledgement is given to the original publication in the journal.
The Innovative Journal of Medical Imaging accepts advertisements in both online and print formats. All advertisements are clearly separated from editorial content, and editorial decisions remain completely independent of commercial or financial interests. The journal and publisher do not endorse any advertised products or services. Advertisements that are misleading, deceptive, inappropriate, offensive, discriminatory, or harmful to health (such as tobacco or alcohol products) are not accepted. The journal reserves the right to reject or remove advertisements at any time if they are deemed unsuitable. Drug and product advertisements must be verifiable, include required regulatory approvals, and clearly state generic names of active ingredients where applicable. Advertising content will not target specific articles or influence editorial integrity.
